We’re a modern free church for all generations and nations with a living faith at the centre of life!

We belong to a group of free churches that was given full recognition by the Austrian state in 2013 and are thus regarded in the same way as the established Roman Catholic and Lutheran churches.

What we believe

We believe in a Father God whose love for people is beyond measure. As such, he revealed himself to us in Jesus Christ, who through his life and actions demonstrated that the nature of God the Father is love (1 John 4:16). It’s still the Father’s desire today to be experienced and known by people. That’s why the church exists, and that’s why the LIFE Church exists.

We believe that the Bible (Old and New Testaments) is God's Word and that its authors were inspired by God (2 Timothy 3: 16-17). The Holy Spirit speaks to us through the Bible, where we find the guidance to live a life in true freedom.

Church Services

Our services are characterized by modern praise and worship, and inspiring practical sermons that can really be put into practice by believers in their everyday life. At the end of each service, we’re happy to offer prayer for individuals with their specific requests.

Since many people from different countries visit our church services, we want to help them not just find a place to live in Villach, but also to find a real spiritual home here as well. Each service is therefore translated into English (simultaneous translation) and there are a range of international English-speaking LIFE groups that can be visited.

During the main service, there are separate children’s services for different age groups with plenty of fun and games. We have a separate mums and toddlers room for children under 3 years of age where the main church service can be heard live. There are regular church services and themed parties for young people.
